DEFINE Internship
The DEFINE Internship is a six-month programme based at the DEFINE Innovation Hub, located in Riihimäki’s historic locomotive depot buildings. Interns typically work two days per week. The internship is worth 15 ECTS credits, with the option to extend it to 30 ECTS credits if desired.
The internship includes operational tasks at the Hub, such as supporting the development and day-to-day operations of the Hub, as well as preparing and organising events. Interns may also have the opportunity to work on assignments, primarily for companies participating in the DEFINE Accelerator. Guidance and supervision are available in both Finnish and English. The internship is unpaid. However, upon completion, interns have the opportunity to apply for a paid position as a DEFINE Tutor. Proficiency in Finnish is required for those selected as tutors.
Eligibility
The DEFINE Internship is open to Finnish and international students in their second year of studies at Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) or the upper secondary vocational education institution Hyria.
