This accessibility statement explains how the definefinland.fi website complies with the law on the provision of digital services, what accessibility gaps there are, and how you can give us feedback on accessibility issues. Our aim is to ensure that online services are as accessible as possible for all users. Accessibility is taken into account in the development of the site.
Accessibility refers to the ease of use and readability of websites, mobile apps, and the content published on them. Accessibility is further defined in Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council, and in the Finnish Act 306/2019 on the provision of digital services.
This accessibility statement applies to the definefinland.fi website, which has been created using the WordPress publishing software. The technical developer of the site is Geniem.
Accessibility status
The website largely meets the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at levels A and AA.
Preparing an accessibility statement
The definefinland.fi website has been launched in 2024. This report was prepared on 15/3/2024. It is based on user testing, self-assessment, and accessibility testing by the technical platform provider. It will be reviewed annually. Regular accessibility checks and improvements are carried out by the website administrators.

The City of Riihimäki’s Information Centre Tietotupa provides assistance in the use of the website. You can contact Tietotupa by phone or e-mail, or by visiting Matkakeskus.
Accessibility feedback and complaints
If you have noticed any accessibility issues on the website, you can provide feedback to the website administrator at mira.ahjoniemi@riihimaki.fi.
If you are not satisfied with the response you receive, or if you do not receive any response within two weeks, you can file a report to the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland. The webaccessibility.fi website explains clearly how to submit a complaint and how the matter will be handled.
