As NATO Innovation Range comes to a close, we are left with a strong confidence in having taken an important step towards securing the futures of our nations. Over the course of three days, international innovators, industry-leading companies, professionals, and stakeholders across the Ministry of Defence, the Defense Forces, and alliances came together for the demonstrations of new defense solutions designed to strengthen national resilience. The event was held at the DEFINE Innovation Hub and at Räyskälä Airfield from December 8 to 10, 2025.
Each of the 17 demonstrating companies offered a unique perspective, advancing our collective approach to the evolving landscape of modern defense. Special recognitions were awarded within the four challenge categories:
Sine Engineering in Resilient Connectivity: Ensuring robust and secure data exchange between unmanned systems operating in contested electromagnetic environments.
Kuva Space in AI-Enhanced Decision Support: Using artificial intelligence to improve situational awareness, decision-making, and automation across command and control systems.
Jet Connectivity in 5G/6G and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) Integration: Demonstrating how next-generation communication technologies can enhance battlefield connectivity and spectral agility.
Kelluu in Mission Assurance in Extreme Conditions: Enabling continuity of operations and data integrity in harsh Arctic or high-altitude environments.
Alta Ares, ARX Robotics, Dwarf Engineering, Granta Autonomy, IS -Wireless, Kraken, Lennartsfors, Microamp, ReLoc, RSI Europe, TACTIQL and Tekever likewise showcased impressive solutions, demonstrating mission-driven innovations aimed at enhancing battlefield effectiveness and reinforcing our collective defense posture.
We are truly grateful and honored by everyone who made this event possible, from those who championed it from the start to all the participants whose insights and commitment shaped its success. This is a strong place to continue our efforts!
