HAMK Launches New Master’s Degree in Technological Solutions for Comprehensive Security

Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) is introducing a new Master’s degree programme, “Technological Solutions for Comprehensive Security,” set to begin in autumn 2026. Developed in close cooperations with security and defence professionals, the programme focuses on AI-based solutions, techlonogy foresight, and dual-use technologies that benefit both civil and defence applications.

The programme will be delivered primarily online to support part-time study, with select contact days held in Riihimäki. These in-person sessions are integrated with the DEFINE network. The security and defence cluster in Riihimäki also present unique opportunities for students to build networks and launch new ventures within the industry.
