The DEFINE team hosted a truly inspiring Defence Super Day on 27 August 2025 at the DEFINE Innovation Hub in Riihimäki. The day consisted of the DEFINE Accelerator’s 3rd batch’s kick-off activities, bringing together Finland’s National Defence University’s Senior Staff Officer Course for a visit at the Innovation Hub alongside with company pitches, foresight presentations and speed mentoring sessions between the members of the Senior Staff Officer Course and DEFINE Batch 3 startups.
The day’s program concluded with a visit to the SAKO factory and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the cities of Riihimäki and Mooresville, North Carolina – strengthening international collaboration in defence and dual-use innovation.
