BeScaled Project Joins NORDEEP Deep Tech Business Summit in October 2025

The BeScaled project, launched in May 2025, is gearing up to participate in the NORDEEP Deep Tech Business Summit, held on October 2–3, 2025, in Espoo. The project’s mission is to help 25 startups pivot into the defense and security sector through a six-phase preparatory accelerator program over the next three years.

As part of this journey, 20 startups will be selected to join the Nordeep event. This provides a unique opportunity to gain visibility, network with key stakeholders, and take the first steps toward growth in the defense and security domain. In addition, 40 startups will be admitted to the BeScaled pre-accelerator program. The program offers onboarding and consulting, combined with targeted training and coaching on business models and product development. By providing this support, BeScaled creates the foundation for startups to build sustainable business in the defense and security sector.

The project also aims to strengthen regional and international collaboration. It enhances cooperation between the City of Riihimäki and Häme University of Applied Sciences, while also fostering partnerships with South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, Tallinn University, and Tartu Science Park. BeScaled is an Interreg Central Baltic Programme 2021-2027 project that is co-funded by the European Union.
